EVIA (European Ventilation Industry Association) is the top organization of the European ventilation industry founded in July, 2010. It is based on a total of three pillars:

1.    “Team fans”
2.    “Team ventilation equipment for the non-residential area”
3.    “Team Ventilation equipment for residential buildings”

At the beginning of 2011 the biggest European fan manufacturers met in Brussels to found a representative office of the European fan industry.  After an intensive discussion and consideration of the various possibilities the greater part of those present held that the suitable preconditions are found within EVIA. Priorities are set for the contribution of the relevant European regulations like e.g. eco-design directive ErP (Energy related Products). For this purpose the standardization activities are purposively to be intensified and the political communication to be consolidated as well.
